Production Logo
This is the productions logo for our opening sequence. This is the first the viewer/audience will see when they watch our opening sequence, and we want tot try and grab their attention immediately.
One way we've tried to grab their attention is just by the name. We used the word "twisted" to represent the key theme in our opening sequence. We wanted the title connote that maybe in the film ideas are "twisted" or that someone is getting something "twisted", or purely to represent the mental health of the husband as "twisted". We added an affect on the T and the P to demonstrate a twisting motion/action.
Another way we try to attract the audiences attention immediately is the use of flashing in different colours. We alternated the flashing from blue to red rapidly, in such a way that the viewer may feel disorientated. By doing this, we instantly grab their attention as the seek to understand what is happening and why various lighting are flashing.
The final technique we used to draw the viewers attention is the shaking of the production logo. We have done this to connote a sense of her and to mimic the action of "shaking in fear". Having a shaking production logo represents to the audience that everything is hectic and manic, and something bad is about to occur.
